How long have you been in education? This is my 11th year of teaching, and my third year at All Saints.
What is your favorite thing about being an educator? My favorite thing about being an
educator is watching my students grow- not just academically, but as people. I love getting to know who they are, building relationships and helping them discover confidence and curiosity. Developing a genuine love of learning is very rewarding.
What are you looking forward to this school year and/or favorite memory from this school year?
My favorite part of every school year is seeing the growth in my students. First grade is such a huge year for learning, and watching them develop from beginning readers to fluent readers and writers is such a fun and fulfilling experience.
All-time favorite school supply item? Folders, lined paper, and markers are some of my favorite supplies!
What are your hobbies outside of education? I love spending time with my three children and
husband. I love to be outside, play pickleball, and cheer my kids on as they do things that they’re
passionate about.
